The LME Matchmaking system does not take into account your clan's login time, attack power or Phase 1 score. There is only one factor that the matchmaking system takes into account.
This is the ranking you achieve each week as a result of the LME battles.
The system is designed to match the clan that ranks first each week with stronger opponents. If you finish 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, your chances of being matched with weaker opponents will increase each week. Each clan has a rank factor called "Secret Score". You cannot see this score, but you can calculate it. When clans are matched each week, they are grouped according to their “secret score” points, from highest to lowest.
The secret score calculation is performed using the following formula.
Your Current LME Points * Rank Factor = Secret Points
You can see LME Points on each clan's details page. However, you cannot see the rank factor. Therefore, you need to calculate it yourself.
When a clan is created, the rank factor is set to “1.0”. Each week, your rank factor increases or decreases based on your ranking in the LME War results. The table below lists the multipliers according to your ranking.

Let's calculate our rank factor and secret score based on the results of our 1-month LME battle;
- We ranked second in the first week.
- We ranked fourth in the second week.
- We ranked third in the third week.
- In the fourth week, we ranked second.
0.98 * 0.94 * 0.96 * 0.98 = Rank Factor (0.86)
We found our rank factor to be 0.86. We put this in the first formula and find our secret score. (1145 LME Points * 0.86 = 984.7)
We now know that our secret score is 984.7. This means we will be matched with other clans whose secret score is close to 984.7.
If you've noticed, our rank factor never increases, it always decreases. The reason for this is that we are ranked 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. If we become ranked 1st, our rank factor resets to zero and instantly becomes “1.0.” In short, we return to the top and face powerful clans.
The best tactic is to come in second every week. This way, we will have a ranking factor that decreases indefinitely, and even if we are in 10th place, we can still be matched with clans in 1000th place.
